AKcessories was started in 1999 in an effort to offer quality cell phone accessories at a price that is affordable.  Having sold cell phone service in the past led us to start this business with a goal in mind - affordable accessories. 

Cell phone accessories are available when you purchase your phone and phone service and at a variety of retail locations but the prices are high because the retail locations have to pay employees, rent and etc.

In 1999 we started selling on our first website and doing shows at local flea markets and fairs.   Since then, we have expanded our website to offer a large selection of faceplates, keypads and other accessories. 

We strive to offer low prices, fast shipping and personal customer service.  We have always assembled faceplates and inspected the product before we ship it to avoid poor quality, defective or broken items being sent to our customers.  

Our website has changed since 1999 but our service and prices remain the same.  Shortly we will launching a new website so you will be able to order easier.  Your cell phone items are shipped in bulk packaging to save on shipping.

We strive to give you a good variety of quality aftermarket cell phone accessories at low prices, with fast shipping and the best selection of faceplates on the web.  We sell them at 50% - 80% off retail price.  Our clearance items are priced at or below cost.  They are new overstocked items and priced to move the inventory so we can make room for newer model accessories Clearance cannot be returned/exchanged or credited.

All items are new quality aftermarket, licensed, OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer) cell phone accessories.  All items are warranted against manufacture defects, not abuse. If an item is defective, then return the defective item, with the Return Authorization Form. This process will assure proper credit, replacement or refund to be applied. We do not pay for shipping to return the item to us.

We want our customers to be satisfied with anything they buy from us.  If you have a problem with your order please e-mail us at customerservice@akcessories.com so we can fix the problem.   When you e-mail us please include the e-mail address you used when you ordered with the date you ordered.  We cannot refer to your order by order number.  We will respond to your e-mail as soon as possible. 

If you do not know how to change out a faceplate, please find a dealer to install or call us for assistance during normal business hous (Monday - Friday , 10AM - 5PM - central time zone)  Faceplates broken during installation cannot be returned.

We assemble all faceplates prior to shipping for all retail orders. This means that the sponge pack and lens are installed in the faceplates that require it, so all you have to do is remove your old faceplate and put on the new faceplate. We do this to ensure that your LCD screen is protected with the sponge pack in place. We feel that when you buy a faceplate you should not have to assemble the parts. If you get extra keypads then you will have to place them in the faceplate.  We do not assemble the clearance items being sold below cost. This is our way of showing that we appreciate your business.
