Battery Care

Battery care for all cell phone batteries.

 

Very Important!

All batteries require initialization.  That means in order to get the best performance from your battery it must be initialize properly.  You do this by charging it on your phone, with it off, with a home charger (the one that came with your phone) for 12 hours.  Then use it until it says "low battery".  Then re-charge again for 12 hours with a home charger.  Use it again until it says "low battery".  Follow that sequence three times BEFORE using a car charger or desktop charger. 

Lithium Ion batteries do not develop a memory like the Nickel Metal Hydride but still require initialization for best performance.  Failure to initialize properly can shorten battery life.
